About Mika Westwolf
Mika is an enrolled member of the Blackfeet tribe and is also Diné (Navajo), Cree, and Klamath.
Mika loved writing, the outdoors, and her family. Mika danced at powwows since she could walk untill middle school. She valued her family, her culture, and being self-sufficient by living off the land.
Mika was curious and loved to read to understand our world better. She was endlessly creative. She won awards with her poetry and videography.
Mika was one of 4 Blackfeet tribal members who were picked to attend an Indigenous Cultural Exchange with the Sherpa people of Nepal.
Mika loved basketball and was a fantastic runner, but really she was good at any sport she tried. She was a passionate snowboarder, skateboarder, and hiker. She loved being outdoors in the mountains.
